REDESIGN
ABOUT: During the offseason, the Panthers Content & Creative team set out to refresh Panthers.com to reflect the new 2026 Style Guide and create a more engaging experience for fans coming out of the playoffs and looking ahead to the upcoming season.
THE GOAL: Refresh key elements of the site to better align with the Panthers’ updated branding and visual identity while adhering to NFL web guidelines. The goal was to create a more engaging and visually cohesive experience that encouraged fans to explore content, purchase tickets, view the schedule, read editorial coverage, and download the Panthers mobile app.
ROLE: Researched websites from other NFL teams to identify effective design solutions, opportunities for improvement, and ways to differentiate the Panthers’ digital experience. Developed concepts for a new website header and navigation buttons, along with proposed layouts and design recommendations to help bring the updated visual identity to Panthers.com.
PANTHERS.COM BEFORE
Panthers.com felt visually cluttered, with limited hierarchy making it difficult for users to navigate
and find content. Content thumbnails also lacked
a cohesive visual language, creating an inconsistent experience across the site. The goal was to create
a digital experience that better reflected the quality and consistency of the Panthers’ creative work across other platforms, particularly social media.
PANTHERS.COM AFTER
The redesigned site introduces a new animated header, developed in collaboration with our motion graphic designer, and a dedicated space for ads and featured content. News and Photo were consolidated into a streamlined scrolling carousel, creating a cleaner hierarchy and making content easier for fans to navigate and explore.
Further down the page, prominent ticketing buttons were introduced to create a clear path to purchase and make key actions more accessible for fans. A dedicated mobile app promotion was also designed to encourage downloads and increase engagement beyond the website. Rounded corners were incorporated throughout buttons, advertisements, and content thumbnails, adding a distinctive visual detail that softened the overall interface and helped differentiate the site from a more traditional web layout.
